All instructors at the Howick and St Heliers Judo Club hold coaching certificates from Judo New Zealand.
Lawrie Crooke Head Instructor
3rd Dan
Lawrie holds a 3rd Dan, he is a Judo New Zealand level three coach and a National A level referee. Lawrie can be seen at the club most evenings taking the Beginners, Junior, Intermediate and Senior classes in Howick and St Heliers.

Brent Cooper

Brent holds a level 4 coaching certificate and is a former national coach. As a competitor he represented New Zealand many times and is one of Judo New Zealand's most successful athletes, winning a gold medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games. Brent is taking with the Senior/Adult's class at the Howick Dojo on a Monday and Wednesday.

Lorraine Rosser has been coaching our Begineers, Juniors and Iintermediates at St Heliers since 2005. She holds her Level 1 coaching certificate and is also a National C graded referee.
